Features

  • Create control surfaces for devices and software.
  • Use universal protocols such as Midi, Bluetooth Midi or OSC as well as special connections, for example for OBS Studio, Logic Pro, Grass Valley, Blackmagic Videohub or the Behringer X32/X-Air series and the Midas M32/MR Series.
  • Configure directly in DeviceJockey, so that no external editor is needed.
  • Simultaneously control devices and software from different worlds and combine these applications on one graphical user interface.
  • Classic controls such as buttons, sliders, rotarys or labels give you the flexibility you need when creating the control surface.
  • A controller can consist of one or more panels, which you can customize as needed. This allows you to precisely adapt your controller to the desired application.
  • Combine panels and connections in scenes. This way, your use cases can be grouped and used even better.

Interfaces

With the interfaces your items get a set of commands and events. With commands you can control your environment. And with events you can control your items from the environment. Via the main menu you can add any number of interfaces of different types.

Items overview

With a long touch on an item and the menu selection “Edit” you get an overview of different actions for this item. With the green buttons you can define commands and with the red buttons you define events. The blue button allows you to change the design of the item. Depending on the item there are further possibilities. If you have a slider, for example, the overview looks like this:

Scenes

Depending on how you use the DeviceJockey, you may need different interfaces and panels. The configurations of the interfaces, such as IP address or port number, can also differ from case to case.
The Scenes give you the possibility to bundle a group of interfaces, panels, macros and SwapTables. Scenes are independent of each other and only one is active. Accordingly, only one set of interfaces is active. Items on the Panels only access the active interfaces defined in the same scene.
